The Wisconsin Towing Association is partnering with Miller Industries to offer an immersive, two-day Heavy Duty Workshop for towers who are serious about honing their skills and learning new techniques for large-scale recoveries. The comprehensive course will include classroom training as well as hands-on, outdoor demonstrations. The cost is $450 for WTA Members and $625 for non-members, which includes breakfast and lunch on both days.

Q: What is the overall schedule for training?
A: The training will be divided each day into a morning classroom session in the hotel (Riverview North Room) and an afternoon outdoor training in a nearby demonstration area.
Q: Do I need to bring any special gear or equipment?
A: Generally speaking, you do not, however you will be in a demonstration area near large vehicles and machinery. You will likely need proper footwear and work clothing.
Q: Should I have prior HD experience for this seminar?
A: It is not required however most attendees may have some HD towing and recovery experience, but are looking to hone their skills.
Q: Do I need to sign a liability waiver?
A: Yes, each attendee will be required to sign a ‘Workshop Agreement’ before attending the course.
Q: Can I transfer my registration to another person?
A: Yes, but it must be done at least one week in advance of the event and the person must also sign and submit the ‘Workshop Agreement’.
Q: Will food and beverage be provided?
A: Yes, your registration fee includes breakfast and lunch on both days, and beverages will also be provided. Dinner is on your own.
